What is World Youth Day? World Youth Day 2027- Seoul, South Korea World Youth Day (WYD) is a global gathering with the Pope held every few years, bringing together young people from around the world for prayer, celebration, and faith. The last WYD took place in Lisbon, Portugal in August 2023, and the next will be in Seoul, Korea in 2027. Open to all youth (16+), WYD offers a powerful opportunity to encounter Christ, experience the universality of the Church, and grow in faith alongside hundreds of thousands of peers.
As the Universal Church looks ahead with hope to World Youth Day 2027 in Seoul, South Korea, the Diocese of London Youth, Young Adult & Family Ministry Office is excited to invite young people to be part of this historic global gathering with the Holy Father.
