Catholic Engaged Encounter (CEE) provides quality preparation for marriage in a weekend retreat presented in a prayerful atmosphere. The weekend is Catholic in thought, morality, ritual and expression.
It gives couples the opportunity to discover the deep meaning of the Sacrament of Marriage within the Catholic Church. We offer couples a unique experience which focuses strongly on fostering good communication in marriage and the importance of God in their relationship. We solidly support Church teaching in all areas.

An atmosphere is created for the two of you to concentrate exclusively on each other, free of the distractions, pressures and interruptions of daily living – a time away from home, friends, and wedding preparations. It is a quiet weekend, specifically designed to give you the opportunity to talk honestly and intensively about your future together.
Catholic Engaged Encounter Weekends in the Diocese of London are at the Jericho House Retreat Centre in Wainfleet or the Monastery of Mount Carmel in Niagara Falls. Directions will be included with your Registration Confirmation. Please arrive Friday evening by 6:30 p.m. to settle in so that we can start promptly at 7:00. The program completes on Sunday around 2:30 pm. Couples are expected to be free of other commitments and remain at the retreat centre for the entire weekend.
