Bishop Fabbro is pleased to announce the following permanent diaconate appointments and assignments which will be effective January 1, 2020.
Deacon Michael Cookson has been appointed to exercise his ministry of Word and ministry of Sacrament at Mary Immaculate Parish, London. He has been assigned to ministries of Charity at St. Joseph's Hospice and St. Joseph's Community Palliative Care in London.
Deacon David Cummings has been appointed to exercise his ministry of Word and ministry of Sacrament at St. Thomas d'Aquin Parish, Sarnia. He has been assigned to ministries of Charity at St. Thomas d’Aquin Parish for outreach to the French and Spanish communities, as well as leading formation and training of a Liturgy Team.
Deacon Leo Gulikers has been appointed to exercise his ministry of Word and ministry of Sacrament at St. Patrick Parish, London. He has been assigned to ministries of Charity at the London Health Sciences Centre and to the homebound of St. Patrick Parish, London.
Deacon Henry Tomaszewski has been appointed to exercise his ministry of Word and ministry of Sacrament at All Saints Parish, Strathroy. He has been assigned to ministries of Charity at Seasons Retirement Community, Trillium Village and the Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital.
Deacon Tim Raaymakers has been appointed to exercise his ministry of Word and ministry of Sacrament at St. Francis Xavier and St. Peter Parishes, Tilbury. He has been assigned to ministries of Charity at the Tilbury Manor Long-Term Care Home, the Hudson Manor Retirement Residence, and with the Chatham Kent Health Alliance.
Deacon Art Williams has been appointed to exercise his ministry of Word and ministry of Sacrament at Corpus Christi Parish, Windsor. He has been assigned to ministries of Charity at Iris House and Assumption Cares, Windsor.
Deacon Matt Sutton has been appointed to exercise his ministry of Word and ministry of Sacrament at St. John the Baptist Parish, Amherstburg. He has been assigned to a ministry of Charity at the House of Shalom Youth Centre in Amherstburg.
