Pastoral Appointments and Changes connected to Families of Parishes

The following Families of Parishes will be established and the appointments will be effective on July 6, 2020.
 
Pastoral Appointments and Changes
Rev. Thomas Blondin, has been appointed Pastor of the new Family of Parishes comprising Sacred Heart, Delaware, St. Charles Garnier, Glencoe, All Saints, Strathroy, and Sacred Heart, Parkhill.  Rev. David Johnston, has been appointed Associate Pastor. An additional Associate Pastor is still to be named to this family.
 
Rev. Seejo John, has been appointed Pastor of the new Family of Parishes comprising St. Clement, McGregor, Holy Name of Jesus, Essex, St. John the Evangelist, Woodslee, and St. Mary, Maidstone. Rev. Paul Kim, has been appointed Associate Pastor.
 
Rev. David Butler, has been appointed Pastor of the new Family of Parishes comprising Holy Name of Mary, St. Marys, Immaculate Conception, Stratford, and St. Joseph, Stratford.  Rev. Chris Pietraszko, has been appointed Associate Pastor.
 
Rev. Matthew Kucharski, has been appointed Pastor of the new Family of Parishes comprising St. John the Baptist, Amherstburg and St. Anthony of Padua, Harrow.
 
Rev. Tom Ferrera, has been appointed Pastor of the new Family of Parishes comprising St. Michael, Leamington, Blessed Sacrament, Wheatley, St. John de Brébeuf and Companions, Kingsville and Star of the Sea Church, Pelee Island.  Rev. Steve Marsh, has been appointed Associate Pastor.
 
Rev. Philip Joseph, has been appointed Pastor of the new Family of Parishes comprising St. Patrick, Dublin and St. James, Seaforth, St. Vincent de Paul, Mitchell, and St. Patrick, Kinkora.  Rev. Ronnie Tagnines, has been appointed Associate Pastor.
 
Rev. Maurice Restivo, has been appointed Pastor of the new Family of Parishes comprising Assumption, Windsor, St. Alphonsus, Windsor, which includes St. Daniel Comboni African Catholic Community, Windsor, St. Benedict Tridentine Catholic Community, Windsor, and St. Angela Merici, Windsor. Rev. Steven Huber, C.S.B,  has been appointed Associate Pastor. An additional Associate Pastor is still to be named to this family.

Rev. Tony Laforet, has been appointed Pastor of the new Family of Parishes comprising Immaculate Heart, Grand Bend, Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Mount Carmel, Precious Blood, Exeter, St. Boniface, Zurich, St. Peter, St. Joseph, and St. Peter, Goderich. Rev. Matthew George, and Rev. Vince Gulikers, have been appointed Associate Pastors of the Family.
 
Rev. Ben Huyge, has been appointed Pastor of the new Family of Parishes comprising Sacred Heart, Langton, St. Mary, Tillsonburg, and St. Michael, Walsh. Rev. Thomas Kuriacko, C.S.T, has been appointed Associate Pastor.
 
I thank the members of the Priest Personnel Board and offer our prayers and support to our priests, parish teams and parish families who will be affected by these pastoral changes.  May God continue to bless our ministry to the people of our Diocese.
