To advance the celebration of the Year of Saint Joseph, a Novena and an Act of Entrustment to Saint Joseph have been created by the CCCB. The Novena begins on June 22 and ends on June 30, and is followed by the Act of Entrustment on Thursday, 1 July (Canada Day). The guide and prayers and available in English and French.

In honour of National Indigenous Peoples Day, the Canadian Catholic Indigenous Council released the prayer entitled "Prayer for Tolerance, Forgiveness, Reconciliation."

Parishes ready to reopen safely can reopen on June 11, the Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, at 15% capacity.

Each day of May, Pope Francis has been entrusting to Mary, the Mother of Mercy, the people who have been affected by the virus. Parishes in the Diocese of London will join him from May 25-28

The latest update on our response to the coronavirus pandemic includes: joining Pope Francis in praying the Rosary for the month of May; an instruction that parishes celebrate a Mass in the last week of May for the intentions of “all who are suffering during the pandemic”; an extension of the dispensation from the Sunday Obligation and extension of permission to celebrate General Absolution.
